Review of The Russia House (1990) by Ropi B — 18 Apr 2008
Even for a movie that moves along at a slow, comfortable clip, it drags its feet in the second half. The first half is filled with intrigue and clever dialogue, but as soon as Connery's character admits his feelings for Pfeiffer's character (something not remotely believable unless there's another hour of footage missing from the middle) and Roy Scheider's character starts speaking in ridiculously random metaphors, the movie becomes a mess.
