One of my secret pleasures. And probably one of the most underrated Schwarzenegger movies. It's entertaining and it's violent! And while the plot about crazy tv-shows might have seem completely bonkers, or just semi-interesting in the 80's, it's totally understandable now.
It's funny that it's only an action movie but it was really ahead of its time on discussing popular entertainment. There are other great movies commenting the impact of the media on society (e.
G. Videodrome, They Live!, and so on) but I feel that this is THE movie about reality tv.
