Review of The Rum Diary (2011) by Sharon J — 04 May 2012
This film was ok. It had some good moments of humour (the sketch with the car is the main one that springs to mind) and the script was quite good in places with some clever and funny one-liners. You felt that more could have been done with the story and the ending was a bit of a disappointment.
That being said, it was better than I thought it would be and I liked its quirkiness in some ways.
