Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Daniele B — 24 May 2011
Another triumph by Wes and Owen..
The Tenenbaums are all uniquely different.
And completely dysfunctional as a family.. I wont go through.
And list all the characters just to say that all the performances are.
Fantastic by this well chosen cast..I will say however that I think this is by far Gwyneth Paltrow's best film she really captures her character Margot's rejection as an adopted child. The interplay between the entire family is satirical and at times hysterical..
A real creeper of a film that has enough steam to last the entire feature..
Excellent work!
