Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Kelly B — 08 Sep 2012
The Royal Tenenbaums is one of the finest, if not best, examples of Wes Anderson's style; Wes Anderson Uncut. But after seeing some of his latest work (Fantastic Mr. Fox and Moonrise Kingdom), Royal Tenenbaums comes off as too busy.
This is still a great movie, but Wes has definitely matured as a filmmaker over the last decade.
