Bette midler was robbed of an oscar for her portrail of a rockstar. raw and emotional this film stands the test of time as an all time great. Many of the songs are sung with great skills to live audiences throughtthe picture and ms midler shines in every scene.
with a poignant final that's bound to stay with you once the film is over, this is a must see. a great classic.
