Review of The Roommate (2008) by Kristin R — 11 Jul 2011
"The Roomate" fails to deliver any true and genuine suspense throughout its entire 90 minute running time; its an unexcuseable mistake when trying to make a "suspense, thriller". That is not the only place where the film fails.
The music creates absolutely no tension at all, while the script seemed like it was written by a 10 year old. The film does not try at all to even give a cheap scare or jolt, it just proves what Hollywood has come to.
Creating a film that could pass as an average straight to tv flick. (Rating: F..."The Roomate" is another teen thriller that fails on oh so many levels. Its void of any scares or tension.).
