Review of The Rocketeer (1991) by Aaron F — 09 Aug 2013

The Rocketeer is one of my all time favorite films. For a film that was released in the early 90's this film holds up extremely well. What makes the film really work is the Bill Campbell's portrayal of Cliff Secord.

The last scene of the film when he is given the plane and gum you believe the look on his face. This happens in every scene he is in. He IS Cliff Secord. The concept is fun and makes for a very engaging adventure.

I always had hopes they would make a real sequel and it never happened. Now I hear that Disney is remaking the film. I will not be there for the remake. You cannot remake a classic like this. Make a REAL sequel.
