Review of The Rocketeer (1991) by Matthew H — 24 May 2014
A great early 90s throwback to the golden age of Hollywood, as well as B movie serials. It's packed with solid performances and action pieces. We get Billy Campbell (an underrated leading man) as our titular hero, Jennifer Connelly as our dame, Alan Arkin in an Alfred-esque role, Paul Sorvino doing what he does best (playing a mobster) and the underrated late 80s James Bond (Timothy Dalton) as our villain.
This is a true gem.
