Review of The Right Stuff (1983) by Shirlie D — 01 Mar 2010
Really good film that seems to combine historical accuracy with a touching portrayal of the human story behind the space race. The director suffers with being a tad self-indulgent with some of the uneccessary lingering shots.
If the film were edited better, cutting down the length of the film from over 3 hours, it could have been a five star film. Ed Harris was particularly engaging as John Glenn.
