Beautiful film covering the period of US history from Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier up to the early Mercury space flights. The film not only follows the heroes with "the right stuff" but also those who wait at home for their safe return.
I love it, although at over 3 hours long it's a tad hard on those who suffer with ADHD.
