Review of The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958) by Ken S — 29 Oct 2015
Hammer Horror's first sequel to their first Frankenstein effort sees Peter Cushing return to the role of the Baron, as he escapes his death sentence from the previous film and sets up shop helping the poor in order to steal their limbs for his experiments.
..hoping that with a proper brain he can succeed where he failed last time. Of course, things don't go as planned. It is a worthy sequel to their first effort, and features another great performance from Cushing.
The film may be lacking in Christopher Lee and is a little less grotesque, but it has a decent story, and that makes it worth your time for a good Halloween flick.
