I dont really like Iñárritu. he is a show off . same at birdman , same here.the story was short but sentimental and strong and it could just take 1,5 hour or 2 if there were not those endless yet beautiful-breathtaking scenes when no one was talking or even doing something .

Yes the cinematography was spectacular, the costumes too,the lack of music and the reliance on the natural sounds was one of a kind . Οscar for best actor , for best supporting actor (i loved tom hardy once again) , and for director (he's a show off yet genius I have to admit ) but no Οscar for best movie from me , I need a really good story for it.
