Atmospheric, hilarious and a lot of fun! Definitely one of the best films of the 1980s and one that has never been matched with it's unusual mix of gory horror, offbeat humor and punk rock sensibility.
The cast in this is PERFECT and special kudos to genre veterans Clu Gulager, Don Calfa and especially James Karen for their wonderful and unforgettable performances. Special credit goes out to the actor who played the "Tar Man" zombie - definitely one of the scariest zombies in undead cinema!
