Review of The Return of the Living Dead (1985) by Mr. B — 08 Feb 2014
SPOILERS: This movie is a cult classic! I remember watching it when I was 4-5 years old and I loved it. The writing is superb, acting is superb and the thrill of the movie is superb! Take a look at the scene in which Suicide (Mark Venturini) has his brain eaten by Tarman (Alan Trautman), the fact that you hear a crunch and see his skull break open is amazing! Not only is this movie scary, but it's got comedy as well.
Not 'random all over the place' comedy, but perfectly timed comedy. This movie has the right balance of "OH SHIT" and "HAHA" all in one film. This will always be my favorite movie, I highly recommend watching it.
Rest in Peace, Mark Venturini.
