Review of The Remains of the Day (1993) by Tana B — 11 Mar 2008
I am unable to turn the TV off if this film happens to come on. Like "Howard's End," it's absolutely compelling to me. Anthony Hopkins' ability to convey a thousand expressions with a virtually motionless face makes this one of the strongest acting performances I've ever witnessed.
Tour de force for them both,.
