I looked for this DVD for years and could not find it. Fantastic journey through time and history. Samuel L. Jackson is outstanding and you have trouble trying to determine if he is the good guy or... It is a journey film and a very fine character study with lots of little stories all wound around the same theme - The red violin.
Much like "The Joy Luck Club". A very good film and one of my personal favorites!
