Review of The Real Jurassic Park (1993) by Jake M — 29 Jun 2014
Just saw it for the first time since 1998(ish). Still a very fun and suspenseful Spielberg adventure. Lifts off of Indy and ET imagery and characterizations, relies a little heavily on the AW-effect (which has dwindled significantly since '93), and shortchanges things like character development and strong themes but JURASSIC PARK is a classic none-the-less.
The attack-during-the-rain sequence is still astonishing though.
