An interesting premise but everything is rushed through with poor dialogue and some noticeably bad acting. I tried to detach from history and remind myself that it wasnt a biopic but I could help feeling that Poe was poorly represented.
The whole thing was thrown together instead of a seriously and carefully constructed imagining of the premise. And the result is a disjointed mess that could have been much better.
