Who knew the world of ramen had such depth and mystique? I've never craved a bowl of ramen so much in my life! The Ramen Girl continues the age old story of master teaches student. Brittany Murphy and Toshiyuki Nishida make for as awkward a pair as any in film history.
While I grew to care about the characters, I feel like the film never fully delivers. Still, it's entertaining and full of enough Asian quirkiness to be worth a rent.
