Review of The Rainmaker (1997) by Simon W — 27 Jul 2010

Francis Ford Coppola's The Rainmaker is a powerful and great film. It continues my appreciation for Matt Damon and how awesome Danny DeVito really is, assisted by Claire Danes (who is superb) and Jon Voight this film can't really go wrong.

I can't believe it has taken this long for me to get around to seeing it, it is definably a film that has fallen off the radar! It does not shy away from humor and it's drama is totally intriguing.

I would say it is one of the best Courtroom drama's I have seen in a while, with lots of twists and turns and not to mention the side drama that is associated with Damon and Danes. Fantastic film!

Visual/Special Effects - 10/20.

Musical Score - 10/20.

Entertainment - 20/20.
