Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Eduardo C — 13 Jun 2013
John Wayne travels back to his ancestral home in Ireland, and one look at Maureen O'Hara and he begins to seduce her but not without many, many obstacles in his way. So endearing, romantic and charming, it's also heavily folksy and pastoral.
Wayne and O'Hara together light up the screen in their intensity.
