Review of The Quiet (2005) by Sarah M — 02 Dec 2008
Not a bad movie. I think Critics and others wouldn't have been so critical of the film if it aired on lifetime. This is bascially a darker version of a lifetime movie about secrets, and lies. The movie is pretty disturbing, I think of it as a small scale version of American beauty.
The characters at times are so outthere that all you can say is "wow". Everyone puts on a pretty good performance which is what makes the movie so disturbing, especially camilla belle who really stood out in this film But all and all this was an okay movie that's probably a little underrated, my only big point of contention is that it ends on a "what happens now?" note.
