Review of The Purge (2013) by Nic V — 13 May 2014
The Purge was not too satisfying, yet it wasn't terrible. The strong side of the film is the suspense; It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, but without interesting outcome.
I feel the film was rushed, the pre-purge part of the movie lasted about 10-15 (maybe 20) minutes. I felt as if the action pact/purge part of the movie was rushed. The roles were poorly performed and it has a lot of unanswered questions which means Altogether, The Purge wasn't outstanding, it was just ok.
