"Have you ever notice that when god wanted something bad done, he sent angels?" - Christopher Walken takes on the role of the angel Gabriel in search of the one soul that will turn the tide in the war of heaven.
Elias "TMNT's Casey Jones" Koteas plays Thomas Dagget, a cop with a lost faith and destiny passed on my Simon (another angel). The film is a little dated, but the writing is brilliant and still stands up well today - also has a small appearance by a pre-LOTR Viggo Mortensen.
