Review of The Prophecy (1995) by Jacob H — 15 Apr 2013
Yet another great B-grade movie.
Christopher Walken is fantastically fun as the angel Gabriel turned rogue against god and humanity and he is what makes this movie worth watching. The storyline at the time was quite original, although has been a little overused since this movies release. It's special effects are now obviously dated but this should not detract you away from it's good aspects. Oh - and Viggo Mortensen's (who I had no idea who he was at the time) as the devil is awesome although far too short. This movie is what a good B-grade movie should be and should be enjoyed as such.
