I'm sorry, but without Christopher Walken this movie would suck. Even with him, it's not great. The protagonists are not engaging in the slightest, nor are their hooks ever explored.
Definitely a movie that could use a remake with a bigger budget. The plot is predictable and simple enough that they need the distraction of flashy special effects.
Overall, it's kind of like an inferior Constantine.
