Review of The Promise (2016) by Fburcaw — 03 May 2017
Growing up as a kid in the 40's, I was always admonished to "Remember The Starving Armenians". I never really understood who they were or what they went through. Having now seen this movie at age 76, I now have an idea what they went through.
The movie is very well made and the acting terrific. Thoroughly absorbing movie that goes by very quickly. See it even if you have no idea or interest in who the Armenians were and are. It will captivate you.
