Review of The Promise (2016) by Katie G — 21 Apr 2017
I am not Armenian. I went to see this because I was asked to by an Armenian coworker. I knew about the Armenian Genocide superficially. Everyone should see this film. The critics are foolish in their comments.
The love story shows the humanity of real people at the time. This story is that of the Armenians but could also be one of many other genocides. I encourage everyone to see it. Very well done film, beautiful scenes, and absolutely beautiful musical score.
