Review of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) by Douglas B — 17 Aug 2007
Excellent drama about the dangers of hero worship. Seems more and more relevant with each passing year I spend in academia. Smith deservedly won Oscar, and Franklin deserved one as well; Stephens (Smith's then-husband), Jackson ("Upstairs, Downstairs"), and Johnson ("Brief Encounter") offer good support.
