Review of The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) by James H — 31 Mar 2005
WHAT REALLY MAKES THIS CLASSIC FILM NOIR STAND OUT SO MUCH IS THE SULTRY AND SIZZLING CHEMISTRY BETWEEN LANA TURNER AND JOHN GARFIELD. THE STORY IS AN EXCELLENT ONE, A VERY INTERESTING PLOT. LANA HAS RARELY BEEN BETTER.
JOHN GARFIELD, IS OUTSTANDING AS ALWAYS. TENSE AND EXCITING, A NAIL BITER TILL THE END.
