Review of The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) by Indira S — 14 Jun 2014
Not sure if this was better than the later version. Lana Turner, so totally out of place in the road side diner in her white clothes and blond hair that it just did not seem real. The film was not so overly steamy as the Jack Nicholson-Jessica Lange version, but relatively entertaining.
Not sure I would have felt differently if I had seen this first?.
