Why did I waste an hour and half of my life watching this trash? There were so many things I just could not understand about this movie. Basically the movie's about a young girl who decides to buy a mysterious box from a garage sale and gets possessed by a spirit that lives inside the box.
Simple plot, but has been redone and butchered many times. There were so many "exorcism plot" movies that came out in the last decade, it makes me cringe. The little details of the plot that moves the story forward just didn't work for me.
Why was she attached to the box? Was it just anyone who laid their eyes on it? Also, if you daughter is screaming and making weird noises in the kitchen, why the hell would you act like there's a burglar? It's your own daughter, RUN to her! The final act of the movie was abysmal.
Just terribly written and not well thought out at all. The final scene of the movie just made you want to hate this movie even more. Please, stay away from this movie.
