Review of The Plague Dogs (1982) by Christin J — 28 Feb 2010
Very powerful. It's a sad adventure film, meaning it is at times genuinely thrilling, but never fun. There is a doom lurking over the entire film that scares all the fun away. It's shocking at times, but always tasteful.
This is adult animation that doesn't feel the need to blow your mind just because it can. I wish more were like it. Highly recommended.
