Review of The Pink Panther (1963) by Ben L — 21 Feb 2010
Having recently bought the entire collection of the Panther series, I wanted to relive what those hilarious moments I had as a child watching these films. On television of course. This film wasn't what I remembered.
Simply because I forgot the focus wasn't on Sellers in this film but on Niven and thus made it less enjoyable. That said, probably on second viewing, with this knowledge, I'll enjoy it a little more.
See this if you wanted to be reminded of how comedy was then. Don't expect clouseau to be the forefront of the film though.
