Review of The Pink Panther (1963) by Thomas B — 20 Aug 2013
This is clearly the first in a film franchise that hadn't quite found it's right format yet. It's a light funny-ish 60's comedy that just barely foreshadowed the fun ahead when Sellers was given the lead & limelight - rather than (as here) stealing it from David Niven.
But it's a decent start with an unforgettable and iconic musical score.
