Review of The Piano Teacher (2001) by Jordan T — 26 Dec 2010
Another Michel Haneke film, and another Isabelle Huppert performance. As usual, the story line is a bit disturbing. Acting of Huppert is superb. Don't quite get the ending. I could tell it reflects the self-inflicted harm, but why did she take the knife in the first place? for revenge, to kill Walter, the charming student? but then changed her mind for overwhelming pain?
