Musically it is genious and its cinematography is absolutely stunning. It's set in a brutal New Zealand in the 1850's (?). This movie is an exquisite mix of tenderness, humour, lust, violence, hopelessness, bizarre circumstance and pain.
Unique and Unmissable.
