As much as WWII movies fascinate and touch me, this was a particularly moving masterpiece. fantastic acting, a tragic story I'm sure many could relate to. but what especially caught my eye was the picture, the imagery - Polanski is perfect at it.
words fail me at describing my appreciation and admiration for this piece of art so I'll just leave it to the other viewers. 5 stars are hardly enough.
