Review of The Pianist (2002) by Superbat — 26 May 2021
The Pianist is a solid war film which depicts a Jewish pianist's battle to survive in Nazi-occupied Poland. It's a powerful film driven by good direction from Polanski, as well as Adrien Brody's outstanding performance as Wladyslaw Szpilman.
It's not the most remarkable war film that I've seen, but it's definitely worth a watch.
