Review of The Pianist (2002) by Alejandro970 — 28 Mar 2020
Made as a letter written for himself, Polanski narrates the memories of Wladyslaw Szpilman, a Jew pianist who lived a long odyssey with his family, going through gaps and famine, seeing how were all them deported to a death field, and forced to wander through of devastated Warsaw.
A reminder about the power of hope against the odds. Mandatory but hard to watch for than once time.
