Review of The Phantom Tollbooth (1970) by Kathryn D — 10 Sep 2009
I read the book years ago, have not seen this production, but speculate that it's at least OK as an intro to Juster's perfect prose, as well as the spirit of the Jules Pfeiffer illustrations. The novel (allegedly for children) is seminal, epochal, necessary.
