Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Rebekah S — 15 Jan 2012
Alright, so if you've read the book you must know that it doesn't follow the true story. now as much as id like to complain the same thing about percy jackson or harry potter I could, but if we forget the limitations and focus on the good-we might have a beautiful movie.
the set is gorgeous, the costumes-phenomenal, the music- mystical, the love story-heartbreaking. it is a truly haunting master piece, that I feel kept you entranced the full meter of time. furthermore, if you're a guy into action and sex scenes, not exactly you're type of movie.
If you're more hopeless romantic, artistic, period pieces, musical, seductive/mysterious men, hey this is a film for you. Andrew Lloyd Weber is a highly acclaimed wrighter and have always loved his work.
besides that Raoul is a wimp and someone dies, its awesome!
