I'm as a big of a fan of Hammer Horror as anybody, but this just isnt my favorite adaptation of Leroux's novel. Especially since a) it bears no resembalance to the original novel b)The mask was shit c) They changed Erik's name to Professor Petrie! Like what the hell! I liked the Gothic atmosphere, but eh it isnt my cup of tea.
If you want to watch a good Hammer Horror film watch Horror of Dracula.
