Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1962) by Peter C — 03 Apr 2009
An excellent retelling of the classic novel, where Lom plays the tortured character, who's out for revenge against Michael Gough who stole all his work.
The cast, the direction, the sets are excellent as ever, not really scary, but it stands alongside the silent classic starring the great Lon Chaney.
