Review of The Phantom of the Opera (1925) by Jane I — 06 Mar 2008
One film from my childhood that made me love movies. The film is one memorable sequence after another and utilizes some of the first uses of technicolor. Also no discussion of the film is complete without the unmasking sequence, one look at the face and you should come to realize how iconic it is.
Channey was among one of the most dedicated actors of cinema.
