By far the Greatest on screen telling of Guston Laroux imortal classic tragied of a mad and deformed musical geinus that haunts the paris oprea. lon Chaney make up skills and potrayal of the phantom is on par with his portrayal of Quasimodo in Hunchback.

the highlight of the film is the color sequance during the masaradies ball were chaney looks pure evil as the red death while sereches desprtily for maria. 100/100 a true masterpiece of horror ( on a final note can someone please find a copy of london after midnight ).
