Review of The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Bennett B — 28 Jul 2012
Everyone should see this movie at some point in there lives. I am only 11 and I've already seen this. Now you're probably thinking I've got bad parents. No, I've seen this because I have good parents that are die hard Christians.
This movie tells the story of Jesus' death. Some people think Mel Gibson made this movie to tell that he wanted Jesus to die. But I believe he made this movie so we understand how much pain Jesus was put through so we could be freed of our sins.
this is and important thing to understand for Christians. Yes, this movie is indeed violent, but the acting in it is fantastic. Jim Caviezel puts on a great show as Jesus. Luca Lionello puts on a great performance as Judas and Monica Belluci makes us feel her pain as a mother through great acting as Mary, Mother of Jesus.
this is a gruesome depiction of the crucifixtion of Jesus but it tells a great story and depicts the last twelve hours of Jesus' life greater then any movie surrounding it. It shows it how it was meant to be.
