Review of The Party (1968) by Ross B — 15 Aug 2009
If this movie ever was funny, it has aged very badly. In many ways, it is the epitome of the 1960's comedy; it has a classy, care-free feel and doesn't dwell on advancing a plot. Instead, the movie's characters smoothly drift from one situation to the next.
All and all, the movie is well put together. It's just too bad that it has to be such a bore to watch.
