Review of The Party (1968) by Katherine B — 30 May 2011
Who knows, perhaps if I'd watched this in the 1970s I'd have thought it was very funny, but it looks wrong now. Peter Sellers plays and accident-prone Indian actor who has been invited by accident to a party where he created havoc.
There were some amusing set-pieces, and Steve Franken's increasingly drunk waiter *was* funny, but the rest was disappointing.
